about

Part I of Toby Tenenbaum's 'Where Everything is Music' settings of the poetry of Jellaludin Rumi. Tenenbaum (b. 1956) is a composer, pianist and choir leader from Boulder, Colorado, and has taught at Village Harmony summer camp. 'Where everything is music', his marvelous settings of the poetry of the 12th-century sufi Rumi, was commissioned by the Colorado State Music Teachers Association. The wonderfully supple rhythms and shifting harmonies perfectly capture the cadence and sense of these poems.
