South African song composed by Bongani Magatyana our Village Harmony colleague from Capetown. He wrote this song for his Old Apostolic Church choir o be performed as an entrance song when they perform at the regional gatherings of OAC choirs. As is typical of his songs, it is quite contrapuntal with the different voice parts singing different words and and rhythms simultaneously. the words say: We enter carrying the burning fire. I'm still the leader, I am the hope. The hope is entering Don't hurry. Ask the buffalo/experts. Don't hurry. We do like this!. Here we come carrying this burning fire. Here we come. We do like this!
