about

An arrangement of a Bulgarian folk song by Filip Kutev (1903 – 1982) , founding director of the famed first national women's ensemble in Sophia who pioneered a style of expanded choral arrangements of traditional one- and two-part village songs. 'Ladom se goro zalade' tells of a mother warning her son Nikola not to venture into the woods where he might meet enemies.
