Izingane (These kids) is written in two languages, a mix of Xhosa and Zulu. Bongani writes: "As a composer who grew up in South Africa listening to 12 official languages it’s really exciting. In each language I always heard some words that sound great to my ear. I wrote this song while I was still in high school. We used to have school choir concerts with other schools. And in these concerts our audience in most cases were high school learners. They never get to enjoy serious music like formal conducted songs. They always become so excited when the choir would sing songs with a dance. So I wrote Izingane and everybody loved and danced to the song."
